aibGROUP Xmas Message 2025

Dear Valued Clients, As 2024 draws to a close, we know many of you are gearing up for some well-deserved time off. Whether it's spending time with loved ones or simply taking time for yourself, this season is all about recharging, reflecting on the year gone by, and getting ready for what’s next.

Let’s face it—this year wasn’t without its challenges, but it also brought valuable opportunities to grow and strengthen our resilience due to slower economic growth, a shifting landscape, and uncertainty in many corners of the world. But here's the silver lining: inflation is easing, and we're hopeful that interest rates will follow suit, bringing some relief and stability as we head into 2025.

Through it all, we are proud to have kept the lines of communication open with our insurers, ensuring client needs are met no matter what the market throws our way.

At AibGROUP, we don't think of ourselves as just your advisers—we’re your partners, here to navigate the ever-changing insurance world alongside you. Whether it's refining your coverage, handling claims, or assessing your protection needs, we’re committed to providing the tailored support you deserve.

You can contact us as our office will stay open over the break with a select team ready to assist, and more staff returning from Monday, 6 January 2025 refreshed and ready to go!

From all of us at AibGROUP, we want to thank you for your trust, your partnership, and for making 2024 a year we’re proud to have spent with you.

Here’s to a fresh start in 2025 to embrace new opportunities. We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Most of us have already felt the pinch in one way or another — and the latest economic figures for Quarter 2 of 2025 (ending 30 June) shows that New Zealand’s economy contracted by 0.09 percent. The size of this decline came as a surprise to many economists, but on the ground, many New Zealanders felt the decline first-hand — from reduced consumer spending to business caution, all intensified by new trade tariffs announced in the United States and a general drop in confidence across global markets.
