Christmas is coming

As we enter the summer months it’s with some optimism that we now leave the past few months of lockdowns and covid fatigue (especially for Auckland) and look forward to less restrictions as we try to manage our new normal which we think looks far more appealing than lockdowns.

AIB Group will be following the protocols of a vaccinated business and will ensure all our staff, clients and visitors remain safe. More details of our covid policy will follow in due course.

Away from covid we are all looking forward to Christmas and a period of relaxation and the opportunity to recharge the batteries – we all hope you also enjoy some time away with family and friends. Our offices will remain open during the break with limited staff and a return to the office for many staff around the 10th of January. It remains effective to first contact us via phone, email and then arrange any meetings from there.

AIB very much appreciates the support from all our loyal clients – thank you

We wish you all a very merry xmas and a prosperous new year. Looking forward to seeing you all in 2022.

Take Care

  • NZ General Insurance Market Update - January 2026

    News

A 2026 reset brings a year of positive change. As we are all now looking forward to 2026, our hope is for broader growth and certainty for all our businesses and households. Collectively, many businesses, families and individuals are working hard, resetting plans, and committing to the year ahead. We all wish to see our economy grow, demand to flow back, and investment ideas to be executed. A broadening of economic growth helps us all. Encouragingly, property experts broadly agree that house prices are likely to rise by around 5%, supported by lower holding interest rates and a renewed confidence stimulating activity in the market, with more willing buyers and sellers accepting the market cycle. And with stable monetary policy settings forming, it feels like the right time for the private sector to move forward, plan confidently, and begin investing.
