Why AIB Group Insurance - Personal Lines

Our goal as your insurance broker is to save you time, effort, and energy when it comes to handling your insurance claims and policies. We do all the hard work to ensure you receive the best advice and find the right insurance company to engage with, and we also negotiate premium terms on your behalf for any policy you take with us.

We understand that personal insurance policies are now more complex, specific, location focussed, and the costs are rising. For many clients it comes down to securing the capacity to insure a house, and our job is to navigate difficult market dynamics and use our experience and partnerships to provide solutions, especially in difficult situations.

We have an established team that are Fully Qualified Insurance Advisors (Under our AIB Group Insurance FAP Licence) with the appropriate skills and experience.

At aibGROUP we bring together a group of professional general insurance advisers who act as an intermediary between the consumer and the insurance company. We act by helping you (our client) find a policy that best suits your needs, and we negotiate specific policy coverage that generally provides wider benefits with higher policy limits than a direct insurer may offer. We can also offer a range of products that can be packaged together, as well as insuring assets that are traditionaly more difficult to insure such as older properties in high risk zones and/or unique cars or boats.

We will help you identify which risks you face by asking specific questions and then tap into our extensive relationships with insurers to obtain a number of options for you to review against your business/personal needs and budget. A direct Insurer will ask a set of standard questions and can only offer their own product which may not neet those needs.

We’ve heard from many of our clients that they prefer to work with a broker regardless of their situation because it provides both access to a range of products alongside the advice aspect of insurance. Purchasing cover from just one insurer can limit your options and the products you can choose from, which can mean you end up working with multiple insurance companies.

We value partnerships and long-term relationships which drive our objective to give you certainty through an insured loss. We want your policy to respond as intended so you have every opportunity to recover from an insured setback. Our job is to act in your interest rather than that of the insurance company.

When you work with aibGROUP you’ll be assigned a dedicated person and team to support you in all your insurance needs, including renewing policies, setting up insurance cover, making claims, and providing general advice with no lengthy call-centre waits. We have offices you can visit and we can also meet with you at your home or business.
